Is Sugar Addiction Real?
I’m sure at some point in time we’ve all felt like we just had to have that chocolate bar or we may not make it. Others may have experienced a “high” after eating sugar or feel compelled to eat or binge on sugary foods. Sugar cravings are certainly real. But, is this sugar addiction or something else? Could it be that we haven’t been provided with the right tools to deal with “life” without turning to sugar?
Michelle suggests that instead of being an addiction to sugar, maybe we just haven’t “learned how to cope appropriately with the stressors and triggers” in our lives.
