It’s important to identify positive emotions and the thoughts that go along with them so you can stay present with them when they occur and increase their impact. Notice which thoughts are associated with the positive emotions. Consider which emotions you would like to feel and circle them. Notice when the associated thoughts occur and allow yourself to linger on that thought before quickly moving on to something else.
