DBT Therapy Group


You will learn and practice several strategies in each of the following areas:

  • Mindfulness: develop skills to accept thoughts and urges without self-criticism or acting on them. Learn to stay in the present moment without ruminating on the past or worrying about the future.
  • Interpersonal Effectiveness: learn strategies for asking what you need, saying no and coping with interpersonal conflict.
  • Emotion Regulation: learn skills to regulate out of control emotional states
  • Distress Tolerance: learn skills for coping with crises without reacting impulsively

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy was developed to help with out of control emotions. If you’re feeling stuck in emotional suffering, a DBT therapy group can be helpful for you.

In DBT therapists and clients work together to balance change with acceptance. DBT builds on your strengths so that you can feel better about yourself and your life.

The DBT group meets Monday evenings at 7pm. Cost is $65 per session, payable in monthly increments. Your registration fee covers the first 4 of 12 group sessions. You will be billed 2 additional months at $260 each.
