Having a child, whether your first or one of many, can bring huge life changes. The transition to motherhood can be difficult and overwhelming, whether with your first child, transitioning to a larger family, or a change in your own role and responsibilities.
Having other women to talk with that understand what you are going through can be a really important source of support.
In this therapy group, we will discuss self-care, learn relaxation and assertiveness skills, discuss strategies to get through the early years and balance multiple roles, and work on greater self-acceptance. Topics addressed will include self-image, sleep, isolation, family life, romantic life, friendships, both with other mothers and with friends without children, feelings of loneliness and inadequacy, as well as other topics the group feels are beneficial.

**Registration covers the first month of group and is billed on a monthly basis.
