Jennifer's Focus
When it comes to relationships with our loved ones, feeling like you don’t belong or aren’t safe to express your authentic self can create significant distress. I work with individuals and couples who struggle with chronic feelings of loneliness, emotional numbing out, and “people pleasing” to increase feelings of agency and self-confidence in relationships.
To get the relationship you want with yourself and others, we begin by generating awareness and understanding of the problem that’s bringing you to therapy. Next, we test new skills and develop more helpful patterns of thinking to treat the root of your symptoms at both an individual and relational level.
Each session will be about celebrating victories as much as addressing barriers to change as you move towards identifying, embracing, and expressing yourself.
Jennifer's Other Specialities
I work with adult men and women to manage any combination of anxiety, ADHD, substance abuse, relational difficulties, and trauma. As a solution-focused therapist, I create short and long term therapy goals with you not only to increase the likelihood of achieving therapeutic success but also to empower you to stay well upon termination of counseling.
I incorporate trauma-informed mindfulness practices such as brainspotting, CBT-informed exercises, and motivational interviewing (MI) into my work.

What Clients Are Saying
Pleased with Sessions
I'm really pleased with my sessions. I have been to counseling before and the experience doesn't compare. She has been good about asking the right questions and insightful questions. She remembers stuff from prior sessions which makes me feel like she's getting to know me. She's not judgmental and makes everything comfortable. She helps me follow through with my thoughts and point out patterns. She also gives practical advice. I am just very pleased with everything.
