"Rooted Resilience: A Therapy Group for Women Living with Chronic Illness" is a trauma-informed therapy group for women-identifying adults aged 18–40 who are navigating life with chronic illnesses or chronic pain conditions.

These may include—but are not limited to—endometriosis, lupus, fibromyalgia, autoimmune diseases, diabetes, long COVID, PCOS, and other invisible or visible chronic illnesses.

This group offers a path to emotional support, healing, and genuine connection for anyone living with chronic illness who feels isolated, overwhelmed, or exhausted by the daily struggle.

You don’t have to face this alone.
Living with chronic illness can be physically and emotionally draining. It can leave you feeling misunderstood, disconnected from your body, and unsure of how to move forward.

Who is this group for?
This group is for women-identifying adults aged 18–40 who are navigating life with chronic illnesses or chronic pain conditions.

You may experience chronic fatigue or pain, feelings of isolation and shame, grief over life changes, anxiety about the future, struggles with body image and self-worth, medical trauma or distrust, difficulty maintaining relationships or work, emotional challenges like depression or irritability, and a sense of being misunderstood by loved ones or healthcare providers.

Chronic Illness Support Group: Reconnect, Recover, and Grow Together

No longer feel alone in your struggles. The Chronic Illness Support Group offers a safe, supportive space where individuals who truly understand what you’re going through come together to share empathy, encouragement, and connection.

By the end of the group, participants will:

  • Feel less alone in their experience

  • Build a supportive community with others who “get it.”

  • Learn and practice practical coping tools (e.g., pacing, boundary setting, mind-body techniques)

  • Improve emotional regulation and self-compassion

  • Develop a new narrative of strength, softness, and agency in the face of chronic illness

  • Identify and name their values and priorities, even within limitations

Through compassionate guidance and peer support, members cultivate resilience and reclaim a sense of control and hope in the face of ongoing health challenges.
