Career Assessment-Based Workshops

Assessments can be incorporated into training programs and interpreted in group settings for students and adults. Available assessment workshops include:

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator:

The MBTI is a tool useful in identifying personality type and team effectiveness. Understanding personality and career fit improves self-knowledge and ability to work with diverse personalities in a changing organization.

The MBTI workshop can be customized to identify student and employees’ strengths and developmental needs in the following areas:

  • Career paths to explore
  • Contributions to the organization
  • Leadership, problem solving, and learning style
  • Personality type characteristics
  • Preferred work environment
  • Reaction to stress and conflict
  • Communication preferences

Myers-Briggs Personality Based Team-Building Session

The Myers-Briggs helps build understanding among diverse work teams, facilitates better communication and creates an environment of cooperation and productivity.

A team building workshop can help participants understand their strengths and contributions to the team. It can also improve communication and reduce conflict with team members of different styles. With a team building session, each individual team member will receive a report describing their personality style and you will also receive a team report showing the strengths and blindspots of your team as a whole.

Strong Interest Inventory:

The Strong Interest Inventory can be helpful for students to identify major areas of interest and corresponding occupations. A group workshop is a fun, interactive way for students to learn about the world of work and begin clarifying a career direction.

FIRO-B (Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Behavior):

This assessment can provide individuals with a better understanding of their own behavior and the behavior of others in their organization. The results can help:

  • Improve effectiveness on teams
  • Identify the strengths and weaknesses of personal leadership style
  • Increase job satisfaction
