About Carmen Lozada

She/Her

My top priority is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel truly supported as you navigate your experiences. I consider it an honor to walk alongside you on your journey, working together through the challenges you face.

Vulnerability is at the heart of this process. I strive to create a supportive environment where you feel empowered to express your emotions openly and without judgment. Many clients have shared how meaningful it is to have a space where they can be vulnerable—a space that can be both healing and transformative. Through compassionate check-ins and an attuned presence, I encourage emotional honesty and provide a steady, grounded environment where you can explore your inner experiences at your own pace.

Together, we build a space to process, heal, and grow. I’m here for clients who long to be seen and heard but feel overwhelmed by their past. My goal is to help you find your voice and regain confidence, empowering you to move forward boldly toward the life and dreams you envision.

Carmen's Focus

I am deeply passionate about supporting individuals across a broad spectrum of age groups, including couples and families. My work centers on helping those who have experienced trauma, as well as individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. I believe that healing and growth happen best in a supportive, understanding environment tailored to each person’s unique experience.

In particular, I have a strong interest in working with families who have recently received a diagnosis—whether it’s for themselves or a loved one—and those who are still in the process of learning more about what that diagnosis means. I strive to provide compassionate guidance and practical support to help them navigate the uncertainty and emotional impact that often accompanies such changes.

Additionally, I am committed to working with couples and families who are experiencing conflict or significant transitions, helping them to communicate more effectively, rebuild trust, and strengthen their relationships. Whether it’s trauma, mental health concerns, or the complexities of a new diagnosis, my goal is to offer a safe space where healing, understanding, and resilience can flourish.

Carmen's Other Specialities

My top priority is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel empowered to express your emotions openly and without judgment. Many clients find this vulnerability both healing and transformative. Through compassionate check-ins and a grounded presence, I encourage emotional honesty at your own pace.

Together, we create a space to process, heal, and grow. I support clients who want to be seen and heard but feel overwhelmed by their past, helping them find their voice and move confidently toward their goals.

My approaches vary from client to client, but I use person-centered and trauma-informed care when working with clients. I believe Cognitive behavioral therapy can help many different mental health issues by allowing a change in negative thoughts or emotions into positive ones.

I know from my own path to wellness that healing from past experiences and challenges can open doors to growth and peace.
