Daisy's Focus
I am passionate about working with teens ages 13 and older and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, low self-esteem, and life transitions. I understand what it can feel like to be stuck or powerless and unsure of what comes next.
I believe counseling is a collaborative process. I will walk alongside you as we explore, process, heal, and grow. Through our work together, I aim to help you connect with your inner strengths, cultivate resilience, achieve your goals, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
My approach is grounded in creating an authentic therapeutic relationship where you can be yourself without judgment. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and work with you to identify attainable steps that align with your unique goals and needs.
Daisy's Other Specialities
While my primary focus is working with teens ages 13 and older and adults, I also have experience supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, beliefs, and values.
- Anxiety and Depression: Helping clients understand unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and work toward greater emotional well-being.
- Life Transitions: Supporting teens and adults through periods of change, uncertainty, identity development, and adjustment.
- Grief and Trauma: Providing a safe space to process difficult experiences and emotions while working toward healing and resilience.
- Low Self-Esteem: Helping clients recognize unhelpful beliefs, develop greater self-awareness, and reconnect with their strengths.
- Immigrant and Cross-Cultural Experiences: Supporting immigrants and children of immigrants as they navigate identity, belonging, cultural differences, and adapting to life in a new environment.
I use a collaborative approach that focuses on your unique goals and experiences. Together, we will identify patterns that may be holding you back and develop practical, attainable steps to help you move forward.
