Hunter's Focus
I work best with pre-teens, teens, young adults, and individuals navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, interpersonal relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My clients often show up feeling stuck, scattered, or unsure of how to handle the stress that life keeps throwing their way. Some are adjusting to new chapters, others are managing relationships that feel harder than they should. Many are high achievers who feel like they’re falling apart behind the scenes.
I also have a passion for working with athletes and performers—people used to pushing themselves to their limits—who are now looking for ways to slow down, regroup, and strengthen their mental and emotional well-being. As a former coach and lifelong athlete, I understand the pressure to perform and the toll it can take.
An ideal client doesn’t need to have it all figured out—they just need to show up, ready to try. I meet clients where they are, helping them build coping strategies, strengthen communication, set goals, and move forward with purpose.
Hunter's Other Specialities
I believe therapy should feel like a partnership. My role is to walk alongside you—not to lead, not to follow, but to collaborate. You bring your story, your struggles, your strengths. I bring a fresh perspective, a calm presence, and tools that work.
I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and value goal-setting as a way to create structure and track progress. At the same time, I recognize that healing is not a straight line. Some days will feel like growth. Others may feel like standing still. Both are valid. Both are part of the process.
Whether we’re building healthier routines, unpacking painful experiences, or practicing emotional regulation, this space is always one of trust, non-judgment, and genuine care.
More About Hunter
I’m new to the field, but not new to the human experience of stress, change, and the desire to feel better. I know how hard it can be to ask for help—and how powerful it is when you do.
Outside of therapy, I’m a dedicated runner (just finished my first marathon!) and a big fan of Houston sports. Running keeps me grounded and reminds me that progress is about consistency, not perfection. It’s a mindset I bring into the therapy room, too.
