Misha's Focus
I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship built on empathy, trust, and genuine connection. My approach is client-centered and grounded in active listening and unconditional positive regard, ensuring you feel fully seen and heard.
Together, we will explore anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and the emotional weight of experiences that may feel invisible but deeply impactful. I also support clients who are ready for growth and healing but feel unsure or afraid of the challenges that change may bring.
My work focuses on helping you build awareness, self-compassion, and emotional regulation skills so you can move through life with greater clarity and resilience.
Misha's Other Specialities
I work with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, supporting a wide range of concerns:
- Anxiety and Depression: Developing coping strategies, emotional regulation, and healthier thought patterns.
- Trauma Support: Providing a safe space to process and heal from past or ongoing traumatic experiences.
- Relationship Concerns: Supporting healthier communication, boundaries, and connection.
- Life Transitions: Helping clients navigate change with stability and self-understanding.
I support clients in practicing mindfulness and self-compassion, helping them regulate emotions and respond to life with greater awareness and care.
Every person is born with an innate need for connection, and I see this as the foundation of the therapeutic relationship.
More About Misha
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my two Redbone Coonhounds, reading, attending workout classes, running, and spending time with my husband. These moments keep me grounded and connected to balance in everyday life.
History And Qualifications
My personal journey with therapy and mental health has deeply shaped the way I show up for clients. Experiencing my own emotional struggles and growth through therapy has strengthened my empathy and helped me better understand the courage it takes to seek support.
I was raised with the belief that success is something you achieve on your own, but I’ve learned through experience that asking for help is not only healthy—it is transformative. I understand firsthand that meaningful change often begins when we allow ourselves to receive support from others.
