About Jennifer Castro

She/Her/Hers

Have you ever felt pain for the things that didn’t take place in life – an easier childhood, more time with a loved one, an ideal marriage?

Oftentimes we experience grief for the moments we wish we would have had but didn’t. Together we explore where that feeling comes from and why. By understanding our past we can better understand why we move about the world the way we do.

Life experiences can be challenging, and sometimes painful. You do not have to sit with the pain alone. I am passionate about helping you find inner healing and peace. By choosing therapy, you are choosing to change the patterns in your life that hold you back from living fully. Together we will collaboratively work to help you heal from your past hurts and pains, and find new ways of thinking and relating.

Jennifer's Other Specialities

Therapy helps us to understand our inner world, and the parts of us that we do not often show others. Together we will explore and identify purpose, meaning, and connection to create a more fulfilling life.

Co-Parenting

Co-parenting can be one of the most challenging tasks that parents and children alike can face. Yet there is hope for healthier relating with the right boundaries in place. Allow me to help your family navigate this difficult season of life. Together you can do great things.

Trauma

It takes just one person to break generational patterns of trauma, hurt, and pain. This work can be difficult, but so worth doing. Have you found yourself repeating the same patterns over and over, only to keep yourself in distress? I use a trauma-focused approach to help you process and heal from life’s most painful experiences.

More About Jennifer

What Clients Are Saying

Beyond Satisfied

I am beyond satisfied with my counselor. I knew during our first session that we clicked and she would be someone I was comfortable sharing things with. She is receptive, thoughtful, and validating. I am very appreciative of this. She has given me some great tools to use to help me move past some trauma. These tools, as well as just talking with her in general, proved helpful very quickly. I am looking forward to working with her further!
