About Rebecca Perez

She/Her

We all have times that are overwhelming and difficult to navigate, but I believe that life’s setbacks can be opportunities for growth.  I want to listen and help you find the tools and inner strength to make improvements and heal.

It is possible to overcome anything with the encouragement, insight, and clarity that therapy can bring.  You can find the courage to change, improve self-esteem, and ease anxieties and fears.  Freedom and peace can be found in all areas of your life.

I’m passionate about helping people overcome life’s challenges.  Whether you are struggling with a personal crisis brought on by trauma, relationship issues, or simply feeling overwhelmed, we can find a way forward. I utilize a powerful type of therapy designed for overcoming trauma, EMDR, that helps overcome many types of negative experiences, emotions, and beliefs, including addictions.

I want to support and guide you through a transformative journey towards improved mental health.  You will have a safe and supportive environment to learn, heal and recover.

This journey can begin now by you taking the first step.

Rebecca's Focus

I grew up in Houston in a large, blended family and learned firsthand how to deal with relationships of all kinds. My own experiences have solidified a strong belief that we needn’t live in a cycle of suffering.

There are solutions. If you have the desire to be free from emotional pain, I would love to help you navigate the healing process of forgiveness, love, kindness, and compassion for yourself and others.  We have a choice to change our mindset.  A new and more joyous life can be a reality in your life.

For Teens

Life is brimming with possibilities and new challenges. This can be exciting but can also be overwhelming.  If you find yourself feeling anxious or fearful about making decisions or dealing with the pressures of school, your peer group or family, I can help you through this time. I offer encouragement, support, guidance, and new skills to cope so that you may be the person you want to be.

There is no need to feel isolated, hurt, or anxious. There are constructive ways to deal with any of life’s challenges. Sometimes they may be of longstanding, perhaps from childhood, or they may be new ones like a toxic relationship or other difficult family and work issues, but you can discover ways to heal, grow and self-actualize into the person you always knew you could be.

For Couples

Relationships can go through rough patches, or maybe they got off to a rocky start, but they can be healed. You can find a new way to communicate and grow together as a couple. We have all been influenced by our family of origin, but we can chart a new healthy path for ourselves and our partners. We can learn new and better ways to deal with the frustrations, even with a breach of trust, you can find a way forward that is more peaceful and loving.
