I grew up in Houston in a large, blended family and learned firsthand how to deal with relationships of all kinds. My own experiences have solidified a strong belief that we needn’t live in a cycle of suffering.
There are solutions. If you have the desire to be free from emotional pain, I would love to help you navigate the healing process of forgiveness, love, kindness, and compassion for yourself and others. We have a choice to change our mindset. A new and more joyous life can be a reality in your life.
Life is brimming with possibilities and new challenges. This can be exciting but can also be overwhelming. If you find yourself feeling anxious or fearful about making decisions or dealing with the pressures of school, your peer group or family, I can help you through this time. I offer encouragement, support, guidance, and new skills to cope so that you may be the person you want to be.
Rebecca's Other Specialities
There is no need to feel isolated, hurt, or anxious. There are constructive ways to deal with any of life’s challenges. Sometimes they may be of longstanding, perhaps from childhood, or they may be new ones like a toxic relationship or other difficult family and work issues, but you can discover ways to heal, grow and self-actualize into the person you always knew you could be.
Relationships can go through rough patches, or maybe they got off to a rocky start, but they can be healed. You can find a new way to communicate and grow together as a couple. We have all been influenced by our family of origin, but we can chart a new healthy path for ourselves and our partners. We can learn new and better ways to deal with the frustrations, even with a breach of trust, you can find a way forward that is more peaceful and loving.

I use Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help my clients. I am EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) trained and am passionate in my belief that this can facilitate the processing and healing of unwanted trauma responses.

What Clients Are Saying
Able To Address All Needs
I am having a great experience with my therapist. She is very open and makes me feel comfortable. I love how she is able to address all needs in session and use different techniques. She is very goal-oriented within sessions, which I appreciate a lot.
